1 minute looping Instagram animation for DāM-FunK’s STFU II release.
DāM-FunK asked me if I would create a short 1minute animation to help promote his STFU II release. The look and feel was based on the release artwork.
This was a 1min animation of an older illustration I had done of DāM-FunK.
How it came about.
I’ve been a fan of DāM-FunK’s music for years, and over the years had done a couple of illustrations of him just for fun. He took a particular shine to the one I did where he’s hanging his arm out of the window of a car whilst driving on a sunny day… it got shared and liked quite a bit by his followers, and also ended up being the cover graphic for his In The City Spotify Playlist.
A couple of years later, for fun I decided to animate the illustration (seen above) and it went down so well he asked me if I would create another animation for him to help promote his STFU II release.
